Delighted to have Emmy Award winning reporter Jimmy Altman from Connecticut’s FOX 61 TV station at the Belvedere hotel Irish Nights show last night. Really looking forward to his story on the show and Damhsa Director Jim Murrihy who is originally from Connecticut. We even got Jim Altman up to dance our famous brush dance.

Tsinghua University
Once again the wonderful Arlene McVeigh and Ciaran McManus backed up by the brilliant The Upducky Band took to the stage for our second show of our Beijing tour.
This took place at the Tsinghua University to perform for over 2000 people.
The Irish Club Of Belgium
Damhsa had the honour of playing at the fully booked “Irish Ball” in the Steigenberger Wiltcher’s Hotel in Brussells for “The Irish Club of Belgium”.
Damhsa have performed at this event every year for over a decade.
Our amazing performers Christen Mooney, Colin Fleck, Neil Sullivan and Colin Fleck will be dancing on the night. Backed up by our brilliant musicians Bill Martin, Conor Lyons and Peter Browne.
St Patricks Day – The Irish Network China
Damhsa on tour for the first time to Beijing China. Two of our dancers Arlene McVeigh and Ciaran McManus have the honour of dancing at a number of events up to the 18th of March. Damhsa will be backed up by The Upducky band which is Aidan Lennon’s band from Dundalk.
Our first show is for The Irish Network China for the 25th Annual St Patrick’s Day Irish Ball in the luxurious surroundings of the Kempinski Hotel, Beijing Lufthansa Centre.
