Katie O’Byrne, from Wicklow, an An Comhdhail dancer, has been dancing from the age of four for the Wicklow Academy of Irish Dance. Katie has performed at weddings and corporate events throughout Ireland from a young age. She has competed at National and International levels over the last 15 years. Katie is the current Wicklow Champion, has achieved top 5 in the Leinster Championships for last two years and top 15 in the All Ireland and World Championships. Katie currently dances with Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann and performed for the Minister for Culture on Culture Night 2019. Katie also teaches Irish Dancing to foreign students during the summer months and is still dancing competitively. She is studying Business in Technological University Dublin and is really looking forward to starting her professional career with Damhsa.
